Editor's Corner

It's hard to believe another 4 months has passed and it's time for a new edition of Aikido East. I want to thank all of you who helped make this a terrific issue. If you noticed, I didn't need to send a panic email trying to solicit photos and articles, so your initiative in making this a viable edition was very appreciated!

There are many exciting projects in the works by members of the Board of Directors and the Technical Committee. So far, you may have noticed a revised dojo listing in the USAF website. This comes on the heels of the unification of the federation, and therefor the elimination of the regional listings. We are hoping that the site will be interactive in the near future so you can make your own changes and updates, as well as providing the ability to sort and produce mailing labels and email lists. We are also converting all USAF and Hombu applications to a fillable pdf format. We hope this will help with both ease of access and use. We will keep you informed as this progresses.

If you have any questions, ideas, articles or photos, please email me directly. For now, I only accept digital photographs by email, not regular prints. Hopefully that will change and I will let you know.

The next edition will be online January 15th 2007, so take notes, take pictures and stay in touch!
